Our story

In 2022, DineWight was founded and quickly became popular with local foodies.

It was at university, our Founder and self-confessed foodie Ellis Lynas, realised how difficult it was to find independent restaurants and noticed a lot of empty tables mid-week. Between studying and working at a restaurant, the idea for the app started to come to life. Named “DineWight” because of his Island roots, the first version focused on making it easy to find the best restaurants on the Island. It turned out to be a hit.
