As an Islander and self-confessed foodie, the problem I was faced with was finding good restaurants that were suitable for everyone in our party and that maybe weren’t our usual favourites, as we like to try somewhere new every now and again. I found there was no one app or website to make finding a restaurant as easy as it should be. I would use multiple apps and websites which was time consuming, frustrating, and very limiting.

DineWight is now the Isle of Wight’s go-to app to find restaurants, combing dining-in, takeaway, and food delivery with everything you need to know into one convenient app. Discover new restaurants, follow your favourites, and stay in know of the newest and most popular restaurants with the DineWight app.

With the DineWight app, diners can book a table or order a takeaway through the restaurants chosen partner, such as OpenTable, Deliveroo, or Just Eat. This means as the diner you get to see all the restaurant and takeaway available nearby on DineWight, unlike other apps which only show you partner restaurants. When you need to find a restaurant, come to DineWight and we will help you find the best restaurants for you, and tell you know how to book a table or order food.

We have been building the DineWight brand and mobile app in the background for the last few years. The DineWight app has been built from the ground up by our internal development team based in the UK and designed by our team on the Island.

The DineWight app is the first all-in-one restaurant guide app for the Isle of Wight and is part of only a handful of mobile apps developed from the ground up, locally, and specifically for the Island. We are super proud of this.

As we grow, we are committed to listening to our community of diners and restaurants to continually improve DineWight, the app, and future services with regular updates and new features.

We have had great feedback so far from a short period of open testing, but with this official launch we invite foodies, Islanders, and anyone interested, to download the DineWight app and let us know what they think.

Let us know what you think of DineWight and the app by sending us an email to Feedback@DineWight.co.uk or by writing a review on the app store.
