Isle of Wight Hockey Club Sign New Sponsorship Deal with DineWight

THE Isle of Wight Hockey Club has signed a new sponsorship deal with DineWight — and has a sophisticated new website to boot.

The recently announced Isle of Wight dining app — acting as an intermediary between food outlets and customers in a similar vein to Just Eat — has funded a fresh new website to boost online awareness for the thriving sports club.

DineWight founder, and former club member, Ellis Lynas, who played in both men’s league teams from 2015 to 2018, has described the deal as an honour and a dream come true.

“The Isle of Wight Hockey Club will always have a special place in my heart because it was the first sport I felt was ‘my sport’,” said Ellis.

“The club coached and challenged me to improve each week, and I learned enough to play well and ultimately have fun.”

The new website is user-friendly and easy for the club to manage independently.

The DineWight logo will appear on shirts from September, becoming available to purchase from the online club shop.

The newly announced DineWight continues from the success of FreeFromWight launched in 2018.

The dining app, set to launch soon, enables customers to discover great places to eat, get discounts, book tables and pay the bill.
